Arrow Pride came alive! Success had
a refreshing echo: first winning season since '74, first Homecoming
win since '78, first win over Dover since '72, and the end of
a 15 away-game losing streak. The 40-point Malabar and Senior
games were the first since 1949. Shelby was the first overtime
game in AHS history, Paul Herrmann's 1094 yards and Steve Yoder's
record 21 PATs elevated the A's to respectability. Steve Mowry
ran a fumble recovery 44 yards for a TD on the final play of the
season. Six players made the first post-season NCO All-Star Classic
at Arlin Field. QB Matt Underwood had the best passing percentage
(57%) in AHS history. Sam Rado was the team's MVP. |
