The first year in the Ohio Heartland
Conference and the first State Playoff team. After a thrilling
triple-overtime loss to Lexington and a third place finish in
the OHC the Arrows were ranked 4th in Region 6, but lost to twice
State-champs Cleveland Benedictine. Jon Shoemaker led the offense
with 1117 yards passing and 258 yards rushing. MVP Tim Swaisgood
was the leading receiver with 26 catches for 386 yards. Marc Rankin
was the leading tackler (111 tackles) and the top rusher (508
yards). The most outstanding linemen were Brian Blessing and Ken
Jennings on offense and Paul Sauder on defense. The backfield
awards went to Jon Shoemaker, Mark McQuate and Marc Rankin. |
