Homegrown Scott Valentine returned as
the 23rd head coach and turned the program around with a 6-4 season.
The Arrows were elevated to a contender status, when they upset
the OHC-leader Mansfield Senior at Arlin Field. Luke Chronister
with 112 tackles and Tailback Nate Summerfield with 1389 yards
rushing were the co-MVPs. Linemen Jim Vanosdall (offense) and
Steve Durig (defense) received the outstanding recognitions, too.
Other honors went to Adam Hawks (Senior Achievement), specialists
Mitch Van Dine and Mike Krispinsky, and the Coaches awards to
Taz Starnes and Joe Reep. |
