Only the extra point in two overtime
games kept the Arrows from a perfect regular season. However,
they made the State Playoffs only to face the eventual State champs
Avon Lake. First Team All-Ohio Nate Summerfield raced for 1948
yards and an awesome 29 touchdowns. Fourteen players were named
to the initial OCC team, and five garnered All-Ohio laurels. The
squad Outstanding awards went to: linemen: Joe Reep, Ben Benedetti,
and Jeremiah Chronister; deepback Nick Stevens; and kicker Mike
Krispinsky, who had 42 extra points and 5 field goals. The A's
outscored their opponents 30.6 to 16.9 points per game in a storybook
season. |
