A century high thirty seniors paid to
play on the team that did not want to leave the Community Stadium
gridiron after the final game. During their 3-year career they
had 21-wins the best since 1965. Tyler Lucas ran for 1048 yards,
and Greg Tomasek threw his 24th career TD pass (2nd best all-time).
Bob Andress was named the top lineman. Ryan Stackhouse and Joe
Deppen were the co-MVPs. Deppen had 145 tackles, and was picked
2nd Team All-Ohio by the AP. Each of the 30 seniors received a
Coaches Award. |
