The Century Celebration during the Shelby game was one of the most special days of AHS history, but the 100th Year was the most special season in Arrows football history. The Team had the first perfect 10-0 regular season, the first Ohio Cardinal Conference championship, a first place in the Division II Associated Press poll, the first playoff win, and the Elite Eight in the Regional Finals. The Arrows lost to Piqua, the eventual State Champion, with Ohio’s Mr. Football Brandon Saine.

Coach Scott Valentine was the Division II AP Co-Coach of the Year. 1st Team All-Ohio QB Taylor Housewright set school records with 157 completions for 62% and 2,213 yards with 26 TDs.  Shadron Starnes was, also, first-team All-Ohio with 202 tackles while Brandon Harris (13 TD receptions) and Luke Rogers were on All-Ohio second-team. A total of 16 players earned all-OCC recognition.

At the post-season banquet T-G Sport Editor Dusty Sloan awarded the Division II AP Poll State Championship trophy to the 2006 Arrows. The Co-MVPs were Taylor Housewright and Shadron Starnes. The outstanding awards went to: offensive line – Neil Stevens; defensive line – Luke Rogers, Taylor Page, and Cody Fast; offensive back – Taylor Housewright; and defensive back – Shadron Starnes and Curt Gillespie
