The Arrows faced an injury-plagued year for the fifth 5-5 season of the decade. The MVP Matt Van Dine, known as Mr. Versatility, passed for 1130 yards, rushed for 445 yards, scored 94 points, punted, kicked off, kicked the PATs and the FGs, and played almost every play of the season, which included defense at deepback. The other banquet awards went to: Keith Fisher (offensive Player of the Year), Ames Gorman (defensive Player of the Year), Ryan Wires (Iron Arrow), Bryan Dinges (Coaches award), Greg Hoover (Hammer award), and Kirby Mathias (Most Improved).
