Rosey Robinson's fantastic season of 166-points and 1963-yards rushing led the Arrows to their 3rd straight CC crown. His 38-point night against Madison and 323 yards rushing against Wooster helped earned him Ohio's Back of the Year honor. The most outstanding awards went to Joel Smith and Rosey on offense and Virgil Kline and Jim Shideler on defense. Rosey was the State's number two scorer, and Ashland was ranked 30th in the final UPI poll.
