Coach Jack Powell introduced the Split-T
offense with Gary Kehl at quarterback. The Arrows won the two
games for the "Sam" trophy. The win over Shelby came
in the last two seconds on TD pass from Kehl to Tony Hitchcock.
In the Madison victory Gary Kehl scored all 7 points. The Captain
was Tom Brewer and the team awards went to Bob Moses, Gary Stoufer,
Dick Peterson, and Bob Bertsch, who was the best all-round lineman. |
