"Spitz" Ganyard produced a winning season with five inexperienced seniors and four senior lettermen. The senior leaders were: Capt. Barton Kagey, President of the Athletic Council, Aquila Winbigler, President of the Senior class and the Student Council, and Marshall Mohn, a four-year Varsity starter. QB "Kid" Callin was an effective passing threat with Winbigler at end. FB Marshall Mohn scored all seven points in the first win over Mansfield. The big game of the year was the Thanksgiving Day game with the Alumni. Everyone looked forward to the post game banquet at the YMCA for both teams.
