Ralph D. Richards, Principal and Wooster College grad, took over the coaching duties. The new rules changed the first down to four downs to gain the ten yards. Clarence Kosht, Herbert Campbell, and Merle Lamprecht returned as three-year starters. Campbell led the team in scoring with 20 points. Lamprecht, the 5-8 QB at 150 pounds, was considered the most valuable player. The A's had another winning season when Charles Mowery kicked a 25-yard field goal with two minutes to play to win the Turkey Day game at YMCA Field.
