A new coach G.D. "Rosie" Starn, who was all-Ohio at Wooster College, began a seven year career at AHS, and home games were now played at P.A. Myers Field, which had been called YMCA field since 1911. The A's finished 5th in the NCO at 1-4, but they won three games on muddy fields. Dick Paxton returned a pass interception 85-yards for the win over Galion. Capt. Dave Kiefer was the only A to earn first-team all-NCO honors.
